Leaving the Col du Granier at the foot of a majestic mountain, you gradually make your way towards the Ravines.
From here, you can enjoy beautiful meadows with a multitude of fragrant mountain flowers, including the famous Sabot de Venus wild orchid. If you're lucky enough to spot one or more of these, keep an eye out for the Goddess Venus, who is no doubt not far away!
Once you've passed the Granges de Joigny, where the hay is stored, and if you're observant, you'll be able to spot traces of beautiful ammonites on the limestone slabs, snail-shaped fossils dating back several tens of millions of years.
At Les Granges, turn around and take the same route back to the Col du Granier.
