Leaving Col du Granier at the base of the majestic mountain, you gradually proceed towards the Ravines. From here, you can revel in picturesque meadows adorned with an array of fragrant mountain flowers, including the renowned Sabot de Venus wild orchid. If you're fortunate enough to come across one or more of these, keep a lookout for the Goddess Venus, who undoubtedly isn't far away!
After passing through the Granges de Joigny, where hay is stored, and if you're observant, you may spot traces of exquisite ammonites on the limestone slabs – snail-shaped fossils dating back tens of millions of years.
Upon reaching Les Granges, turn back and retrace your steps along the same route back to Col du Granier.
