Departure: Bring 2 cars, leaving one after Bonnenuit, at the start of the Chemin de la Lauzette; then take the Route du Galibier up to Colomban Noir, 1km after the Granges du Galibier. 1 - At Colomban Noir, take the path that winds down to the right, passing to the east of the gypsum quarries. 2 - After a large flat area, cross the torrent to the left and head straight for La Lauzette. 3 - Follow the well-marked path back to Grande Charmette.

- This hike takes place in summer when there is no more snow.

- It's best to leave in the morning, so as not to be surprised by the dark, and let someone know if you're going alone.

Carry a water bottle and snacks to keep your energy up. Protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen and sunglasses. Don't forget binoculars to add a touch of observation to your adventure.
