Round trip by paths. Two chapels to visit.
The itinerary described is done on foot, but you can access all the chapels by road except the Pied des Voutes one.
During the seventeenth century and the beginning of the eighteenth century, in each parish, rich people or farmers created chapels in order to be saved from a disaster.
1. Departure : Park at the Chef-lieu of Saint Alban des Villards, near of the church. Behind the church starts a path which lead at the hamlet of the First Villard in 30min.
2. Go to the middle of the hamlet by going down two hairpin bends to find the chapel of the First Villard, this chapel is dedicated to Saint Roch and Saint Sébastien. The chapel was set of fire in 1880.
3. Go down to the bottom of the hamlet where you'll see a sign indicated the chapel of the Voûtes, to go there in 20min, take a little path. To return take the same path or do it in loop by the road of the First Villard of Saint Alban.
