Soft path along the banks of the Giffre
The Giffre, a tributary of the Arve, crosses Marignier. Its banks are equipped for bicycles and pedestrians and will allow you to take a nice walk, on the footbridge take a break to enjoy the natural and patrimonial spaces.

The Old Bridge of Marignier was built in the 18th century and remained for a long time the only point of passage on the Giffre. It was crossed by Napoleon 3 in the direction of Chamonix in September 1860 during the festivities of the attachment of Savoy to France.
