From the car park, follow the track alongside the Col de Châtillon ski lift. Shortly afterwards, the well-marked path forks left and goes deep into the woods. At a crossroads, leave the left-hand path leading down to the farm. The path soon leaves the forest and winds its way across the plain to the Col de Châtillon, where you can enjoy the view of the Aravis combes. From here, turn right onto the path leading back down to the Chalet de Châtillon and continue up the steep track towards Mont Lachat, which you will reach in around thirty minutes.
