This path crosses the ski slopes and visits marmot country, but the marmots are shyer here than in the Vanoise area. With binoculars you may see some chamois on the rock layers above the Plan chalet.

Start of the hike at the top of the Mélézet gondola.
In the summer season, it is possible to take bus line 2 Modane - La Norma and get off at the terminus.
By car, park in the parking lot of the La Norma leisure base.
