Hermine trail

Departure: from the car park of the Ecudets chairlift. How to get to the Ecudets chairlift:
- By car: from Séez, follow the direction of La Rosière/Col du Petit St-Bernard for 6km then take the road on the left "Télésiège des Ecudets".

From the car park of the Ecudets chairlift, take the Hermine path. Be careful, the first 150 meters are very steep before alternating with gentler parts on the rest of the route.
EDF 94 pylon: this high-voltage power line starts from the Malgovert hydroelectric power station and supplies Italy with electricity. Continue to the right on the ermine trail.
Take the footbridge to cross the torrent of écudets and start a part of gentle slope.
At a place called Le Belvédère, enjoy a view of the St-Germain slope before continuing on the marked route of the Ermine trail.
At the Devin bend, you will find a picnic area. Continue to the right.
At this intersection, 2 possibilities: take the right route and continue on the ermine path or take the variant of the ermine path by following the left path (cf: orange route) which will take you to in the hamlet of Villard-Dessus.
