You will learn about the incredible damage caused by the 12 avalanches surrounding Celliers and the huge public works carried out on protection barriers in the forest above the villages in the fifties.

Level of difficulty :
Average. Good hiking boots recommended.

Potential difficulties :
Natural terrain, so the avalanche protection walk is not advised:
• for people susceptible to vertigo or young children (some parts are steep and narrow)
• during stormy weather (electric cables, steel protection barriers) or when the ground is icy (risk of slipping over or falling). No access on the snow.

Presence of high voltage electric wires: beware if you wear a pacemaker.
