The path is signposted along its entire length and has picnic tables, drinking water and a botany trail displaying some thirty varieties of plant. Part of the trail is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
There are two versions of the trail taking 3 hrs to copmlete (7.5 km) or 4 hrs (9.5 km).

Documentation available from Town Halls, Tourist Offices and local shops: detailed 1:25,000 map of footpaths in the Vuache area (4 €) and the FFRP trail guide (Pays du Salève et du Vuache... à pied" (13.30 €).
