The first chapel (all made of wood) was built in 1671, but a fire destroyed it.
The current chapel was built in 1882 and is dedicated to Saint François de Sales, as a protection against the Plague.
Various farms still have their "contrefiches" (wooden planks under the roof) on which you can still read their date of construction, the owner's name, and religious quotes.
Various other landmarks can also be seen; the bread oven, the granary, several water basins made of granite and a cross.
The view over Mont-Blanc and the valley is stunning.
