Flaine (74300)

Imposing cubic or conical masses with abstract shapes, these fireplaces are art objects in their own right and stand out like veritable concrete sculptures. The Totem Friendly Hotel & Spa is the winner, with 2 majestic fireplaces in the lounge bar area and the second in the hotel's loft. The emblematic L'Hotel le Flaine (home to the Village Club MMV le Flaine) has had its fireplace listed as a historic monument. It is ideally placed in the centre of the cosy lounge, extended by a suspended terrace, signature of its creator's audacity. Visitors to RockyPop Flaine Hôtel & Spa can also relax around a majestic Breuer fireplace. The last of the famous architect's 5 iconic fireplaces is in the UCPA Les Lindars building.
