From the car park of the Plagnes lake, go down towards the Saint Anne chapel.
From the Saint Anne chapel, follow the road for about a hundred metres and reach the Saint Guérin chapel on your right.
Pass near the Saint-Guérin chapel and then climb up to the Tetagottay chalets.
The path continues through the forest to an oratory and then to the Saint-Théodule chapel. You can see the Plagnes lake and Ardens. From there, go back down towards the farms of Follebin and follow part of the path up to the chalets of Tetagottay. Then head towards Chez Les Rouges, cross the road and follow the path that leads to the Lac des Plagnes.

    By car :
    From Thonon-les-Bains: take the direction of the Abondance valley by the RD22 road then Abondance.
    From Evian-les-Bains: take the direction of Plateau de Gavot / Vallée d'Abondance / Vinzier. In Vinzier, take the direction of the Abondance valley.
    From Monthey in Switzerland: take the direction of Col de Morgins - Châtel. Pass the villages of Châtel and la Chapelle d'Abondance.

    In Abondance, take the direction of the village centre - Lac des Plagnes. Coming from Thonon or Evian, turn right at the roundabout.
    From Châtel, turn left, cross the bridge and continue straight on for about 200 m then turn left towards Lac des Plagnes.
