From the tourist office, follow the signs for "Lajoux", after 400 metres, turn left onto "Chemin du Requart", you can then put on your snowshoes at the end of the tarmac section.

Join "La Pierre des Auguets", a cave on your left which houses the statue of Notre Dame de Lourdes. Cross the departmental road and continue on the Way of the Cross, inaugurated in 1892. After the 14th station, go down to the left for a few metres and take the path on the right. After a flat passage, take the rise in the undergrowth, at the exit of this undergrowth, take on the right (direction station). Be careful, do not miss this junction, you would be on an unmarked route and dangerous in winter.
Pass in front of an old building where stone lovers will be able to appreciate, among other things, the window frames, then a magnificent view of Lake Geneva, the Swiss coast and the first houses of the hamlet of Lajoux. Follow the long passage through the undergrowth where you will probably come across traces of wild animals, and perhaps a "nutcracker" will come to greet you! Then join the centre of the resort.
