For this classic hike, participants must be equipped with a safety kit (Avalanche Victim Detector, avalanche transceiver, probe shovel),

Other equipment to bring: warm clothing, ski pants, hats, gloves, good hiking boots (warm and waterproof) or good snow boots (warm with good soles), snowshoes, poles, picnic lunch bag, water (change of tee shirt, hot drink if necessary).

If you don't have snowshoes or a safety kit, you can rent them on request when you register.

This hike is mainly for adults who already have snowshoes or who are used to summer hiking. The difficulty of the hike is medium: it is intended for people capable of achieving a difference in altitude of 370m in half a day.

If you don't have your own snowshoes or safety kit, you can hire them on request when you register (no requests will be accepted on the day of the outing).

Rental price for a l'En Hôt outing (while stocks last): 8€ safety kit, 3€ pair of adult snowshoes with poles, 1€ pair of children's snowshoes.
