This small stream was man made in around 1240 and has its source at 1800 metres. It runs through the forests of Aime and Longefory before descending to the village of Longefoy where the water was used to power the mills. We invite you to discover the stream's history and purpose which played out over several centuries.
Access: 3 possibilities:
1) Follow the "Alpages Enchantés" trail from Montgésin. When you reach the road, turn right and follow the road to the car park at the bottom of the ski run (add 2.5 hrs out and back)
2) Drive up until you reach the car park at the bottom of the ski run, then follow trail n°1 to the bottom of "Fornelet" chairlift.
