This river of 13 kilometres, originates in two places. On the one hand under the Col des Anes (the Small Foron) , and on the other hand under the Col de la Colombière (where several small streams meet: Aufferand Creek, Touvière Creek and Grand Foron). This meeting, at the place called "La Touvière", forms the Grand Foron. These two torrents meet in the village of Reposoir, to form the "Foron du Reposoir", also called the "Foron de Scionzier".

Le Foron
Like the Bronze, this river that flows into gorges contains fario trout and requires caution. The small wooden bridge in front of the chapel of the "Bienheureux Jean d'Espagne" offers a stop in a bucolic site.
