- 250g polenta
- 1 litre milk
- 60g butter
- Salt the milk and bring it to the boil.
- Gently pour in the polenta and leave it to cook for around 3 minutes while whisking continuously.
- Pour the cooked polenta into a dish and leave it to cool.
- You can then cut it into rectangles and fry these in butter until they turn slightly golden.
- Polenta is a perfect side dish for meat stews.
