Ski lifts open free of charge for the event:

- Saturday 3 August: Cairn gondola from 8am to 2pm and Cime Caron cable car from 8.30am to 12.30pm (there is a short walk from the arrival of the Cairn gondola to the departure of the Cime Caron cable car).
- Sunday 4 August: Pionniers chairlift and 3 Vallées funitel from 9am to 10.30am

VT Trail Kids - Friday 2 August 2024

Youngsters aged 10 to 15 will also be competing in the VT Trail Kids. The race takes the form of a loop to be completed several times, depending on the category.

- 2013-2014: 1.3 km, 54D+ course
- 2011-2012: 2.6 km, 96D+ course
- 2009-2010: 3.8 km, 214D+ course

VT Speed 3200 - Saturday 3 August 2024

Val Thorens' iconic vertical kilometre race takes you up Cime Caron for a dry ascent of 4.8km and 1,000m D+ with an average gradient of 23.5%.

The race finishes at the summit of Cime Caron, at an altitude of 3200m! Reference time 41 min 16 sec, ready to beat it?

The Cairn gondola is open free of charge from 8am to 2pm and the Cime Caron cable car from 8.30am to 12.30pm (there is a short walk from the Cairn gondola to the start of the Cime Caron cable car), so those accompanying the competitors can come up and cheer them on at the finish.

And after the effort, the comfort! A free snack for all participants!

VT Speed 3200: €17

VT Trail Pursuit - Sunday 4 August 2024

A choice of 3 routes:
- 10 km: take to the trails of Val Thorens for a 10 km Trail Pursuit with 500 m D+ accessible to all runners aged 16 and over, whatever your level. Minimum altitude: 2224 m - maximum altitude: 2626 m. Trail shoes compulsory, poles recommended. Registration: €17.
- 20 km: take to the trails of Lac du Lou for a 20 km discovery trail with a 1000 m elevation gain. Minimum altitude: 1881 m - maximum altitude: 2527 m. Trail shoes obligatory, poles recommended. Registration fee: €28. Qualifying race for the UTMB WORLD SERIES QUALIFIER 20 K.
- 42km: from snow to daisies, 42 km of running and 2200 m D+ to discover all the landscapes of Val Thorens. Minimum altitude: 1763 m - maximum altitude 3000 m. Registration: 49€. Qualifying race for the UTMB WORLD SERIES QUALIFIER 50 K (2 points) + prize money for the first 5.

VT Family Fun Marche - Sunday 4 August 2024

In Val Thorens, 6 km of easy walking: a panoramic tour on the ski lifts, more than 12 original activities and the inevitable Savoyard stopover. At the finish, there's a snack for everyone... 100% unmissable!

The course is open to everyone, from 3 years upwards. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Fun and gourmet ride.
Adults: €12, 6 to 11 years: €5, under 6s: free
