Trail route - Les Frasses/Difficulty: Intermediate
Distance: 6.6 Km
350 m uphill/350 m downhill

A natural shaded wooded route through the forest of Plangagnant – a hilly trail over varied terrain that will familiarize you with the idiosyncrasies of mountain running.

Departure is from Plagne Bellecôte, on the bend just down from the parking area (you can reach Plagne Bellecôte by free shuttle). You follow the forest track to les Frasses for just over 2.5km. At les Frasses, go up to a water catchment and fork left onto the "single track" that overlooks the hamlets of Plangagnant and la Roche du Haut, and which also provides a stunning view of the Olympic bobsleigh run.

You then go up through the Cavard clearing and cross a bridge over a mountain stream, l’Arc. In a final spurt, a sharp rise up a short steep path brings you back to Plagne Bellecôte.
