Ski-touring race "La Crève-coeur"

La Crève-Cœur is an unmissable event of the winter season in Combloux, which brings together both competition regulars and "novices" who wish to challenge themselves and take up this beautiful challenge in a friendly mood.

LA CRÈVE-COEUR is a 5.8 km long ski-touring race with a positive gradient of 730m. The race will start at the end of the Parking des Brons (Baghera track) and will arrive at the top of the Jouty. The route includes a segment with a descending part (about 300m), the wearing of the helmet is absolutely mandatory. A seal hide removal is strongly recommended on this part of negative elevation.

LA PETITE CRÈVE-COEUR is a dry climb, with a distance of 3.9km and a positive elevation gain of 570m. The race will start at the end of the Parking des Brons (Baghera track) and will arrive at the top of the Jouty.

CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

For any registration, on the internet or on site, you must provide:

- a medical certificate stating that it is not contraindicated to “the practice of ski mountaineering (or ski touring) in competition”. This certificate must be dated less than one year on the day of the race.

- or a licence FFCAM (Fédération Nationale des Clubs Alpins de Montagne) or FFME (Fédération Française de la Montagne et de l'Escalade), or FFS (Fédération Française de Ski).

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

- Skis of a minimum width of 50 mm under the foot with metal squares
- Attachments for heel lock down
- High shoes
- Seal skins
- Headlamp
- Helmet

A verification of the equipment will be carried out before the start of the race. Failure to comply with this mandatory equipment will be grounds for disqualification from participation in the race.
