Mapi'Longa - Val Cenis Tango Festival 2024

A dancer for many years, Mapi has been passionate about musicalizing milongas for the past five years. She takes advantage of the various confinements to train and work on her knowledge of the history of the orchestras, singers and poets who have brought Argentine tango to life. In the early 2020s, she began performing in France and then in Europe.
It was in Arbois that the idea for Mapi'longa was born. The concept: to share my musical choices with simplicity and authenticity in unusual, historic and bucolic venues, while fostering the special energy that encourages connection!
"I like to surprise with sparkling tandas and cortinas that take you on an emotional journey and offer moments of musical love. I'm committed to respecting a social tango and adapting to the energy of the dancers, the venue and the organizers. I can also be seduced by certain contemporary orchestras and nuggets from the 30s to the 60s."
