Lormay's Traditional Fair

Haystack throwing, woodworking, grandma's coffee, bread baking in the Lormay wood oven... will enliven the day. Pony rides, giant wooden games will delight the youngest. It is also an opportunity for visitors to (re)discover the secrets of making ancelles and tavaillons, the famous wooden tiles that make - among others - the reputation of Grand-Bornand.
Refreshments and snacks (potato fritters...) on site all day long.

Program:
- From 10 am and throughout the day: herding dog competition,
- 10:30 am: mass,
- 11 am: pedestrian race, organized by Team SNGB,
- 11:30 am: concert of the Grand-Bornand wind band,
- 12 pm: country-style meal,
Adults: raw vegetables, mechoui or sausage and French fries, cheese, ice cream or pastries. Menu 20 €,
Children: sausage and French fries and ice cream. Menu 10 €,
- 12:45 pm: demonstration by La Clusaz folk group "Lou Socali",
- 1:15 pm: parade of young calf herders from Grand-Bornand,
- 1:45 pm: demonstration of Barrel Horse, a riding event combining western style and obstacle race with Florence Pessey (French NBHA champion),
- 2:15 pm: presentation of the horse work of yesteryear, demonstration of skidding,
- 2.45 pm: Barrel Horse demonstration,
- 3:30 pm: descent from the mountain pastures,
- 4:30 pm: milking cows,
- 5 pm: demonstration of how to make farmhouse reblochons - tommes blanches,
- 6 pm: Bob dit l'âne concert,
- 7 pm: country-style meal,

- 7:30 pm: Les Pitounes d'Hubert and their accordions,
- 8:30 pm: free dance by "Les Muzicos",

Bus service every 30 minutes from 9.30 am to 12 pm, 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm and 8 pm to 11.30 pm from the bus station and Tardevant car park. Return from Lormay every 30 minutes from 9.45 am to 12.15 pm, from 1.45 pm to 6.45 pm and from 8.15 pm to 11.15 pm. Last return at midnight.

Special information for the pedestrian race:
3 classifications: U10, U14 and over 14 years old,
2 departures: U14 (1 lap or about 1,5 km) and + of 14 years old (2 laps),
Children are under the responsibility of their parents,
Price: 5 € for adults (+ 18 years old) and 3 € for children,
A free drink will be offered when returning the bibs,
- 10.30 am: registration on site,
- 11 am: 1st start,
- 12:15 pm: end of the races.
