Every summer, the 35 guides and mountain leaders take keen hikers, budding mountaineers and experienced climbers to discover the massif and the giants of the Vanoise, whose highest peak reaches an altitude of almost 4,000 metres! Every summer, locals and tourists alike pay tribute to these guardian angels of our mountain landscape during a weekend dedicated to the passion and dedication of mountain guides. On the programme: sound and light show retracing the history of mountaineering and the ascent of Grande Casse, blessing of ropes and ice axes, parade, award of medals...
