Layla Ramezan is a Franco-Swiss pianist of Iranian origin who has always sought to create links between her Persian origins and the contemporary music she plays on a daily basis. She performs regularly in France, Switzerland and internationally, and her concerts are broadcast by Radio France, RFI, Radio Suisse Romande, NPO Radio in the Netherlands, CBC Radio Canada, NTS Radio, WDR and Deutschlandfunk.
A researcher in mystical literature, translator and lecturer at INALCO, Leili Anvar is also a radio personality. She has hosted Les Racines du ciel on France Culture, which she co-produced with Frédéric Lenoir, and Les discussions du soir. She gives poetry recitals (in French, Persian and English), accompanied by prestigious musicians/composers such as Renaud Garcia-Fons, Karol Beffa and Shani Diluka.
The Parsi Parla festival was born of the desire to bring Persian artistic culture, its music, its instruments, its literature and its colours to as many people as possible.
