Enduro Series - Coupe de France VTT(AE) Enduro 2023

On August 26 and 27, 2023, Peisey-Vallandry will vibrate to the rhythm of the Enduro Series! Organised by the French Cycling Federation and the Peisey-Vallandry Tourist Office, this prestigious competition, which supports the French Enduro Mountain Bike Cup, will be held in Peisey.

The Enduro Series - Coupe de France VTT & VTTAE enduro FFC by BOS Suspension round, which will take place in Peisey-Vallandry, is the 3rd stage of the 2023 circuit.

After a particularly successful edition in 2022, MTB Events is pleased to be able to offer a mountain bike event in such an exceptional setting.

The programme includes 2 days of competition and 6 special stages spread over the whole of the Peisey-Vallandry domain. The 350 MTB & ATV riders will compete against each other by time. The winner will be the one who has the lowest cumulative time at the end of all the timed sections.

ROUTE :
The course will consist of 6 special stages, the route of which cannot be revealed before the riders receive their race numbers, which will take place on Friday 25 August from 6pm to 10pm at the Vallandry multi-purpose hall. Friday 25 August :
- 6pm to 10pm: Number collection at the Vallandry village hall.

Saturday 26 August :
- 8am to 8.20am: Reco S1 (VTTAE).
- 8.30am to 10am: Reco S1 (MTB).
- 8.30am to 8.50am: Chrono 1 S2 (VTTAE).
- 8.55am to 10.50am: Time trial 1 S2 (MTB)
- 10.00am to 10.30am: Time trial S1 (MTB).
- 10.30am to 12.30pm: Time trial S1 (MTB).
- 10.45am to 11.10am: Time trial 2 S2 (VTTAE).
- 11.05am to 1.05pm: Time trial 2 S2 (MTB).
- 12:30 to 12:50: Time trial S1 (MTB).
- 12.50pm to 2.10pm: Time trial S3 (MTB).
- 14:20 to 14:40: Time trial S3 (MTB).
- 2.40pm to 4.40pm: Chrono S3 (MTB).

Sunday 4 September :
- 8am to 8.30am: Reco S4 (MTB).
- 8.30am to 10am: Reco S4 (MTB).
- 9am to 9.30am: Reco S5 (VTTAE).
- 9.50am to 11.20am: Reco S5 (MTB).
- 10.20am to 12.20pm: Chrono S4 (MTB).
- 11.20am to 11.40am: Time trial S5 (MTB).
- 11.50am to 1.50pm: Time trial S5 (MTB).
- 12.20pm to 12.40pm: Time trial S4 (MTB).
- 1.40pm to 3.40pm: Time trial S6 (MTB).
- 3.40pm to 3.50pm: Time trial S6 (MTB).
- From 5pm: Prize-giving ceremony.

EVENTS
During this adrenalin-fuelled weekend, the competition will be accompanied by a host of festivities.
Friday 25th August
- 7pm: Aperitif concert evening at the Comptoir Savoyard in Plan Peisey.

Saturday 26th August
- From 5pm (schedule subject to change depending on the race): Mountain bike trials show by Kenny Belaey (4-time world champion) in Vallandry.

Sunday 27th August
- From 12 noon to 5pm: Batucada band wandering around Vallandry.
- From 5pm (schedule subject to change depending on the course of the race): Prize-giving ceremony and mountain bike trial show by Kenny Belaey (4-time world champion) in Vallandry.

RESTAURANTS :
Many of Vallandry's restaurateurs are offering €19 menus (main course & dessert) over the weekend - one price, but each with their own menu devised with care and passion.

SKI LIFTS :
The following lifts will be open to spectators:
-The Vallandry gondola will be open continuously on Saturday and Sunday, from 9.15am to 4.50pm (early opening only for riders and volunteers). Accessible to dogs. Ski passes can be purchased at the Vallandry ski lift sales point.
-The La Lonzagne televillage will be open continuously on Saturday and Sunday, from 9.15am to 6pm (early opening only for drivers and volunteers). Dog-friendly. Free ski lift.

Please note that the Domaine de Montagne is still in operation. Pedestrians and mountain bikers who do not wish to watch the race can use the ski lifts to ride or hike. All the mountain bike trails will be open! There will just be the summit of "Elle Chablatte" (departure TC Vallandry summit), which will be temporarily inaccessible (for a few hours) for the duration of the race.

ACCESS :

PARKING :
The Vallandry car parks will be reserved for competitors (those around the city stadium). It will be possible to park in Vallandry after the Eterlou cinema, in Plan Peisey (Zéchières car park, for example) or in Peisey and then take the televillage.

TRAFFIC :
The Route des Espagnols will be closed from Saturday 26 August to Sunday 27 August inclusive from 8am until the end of the race. Traffic will be banned in both directions from the junction with the Chemin du Rey to the Grizzly chairlift (Mont Blanc sector). A diversion will be set up via the rescue route to link Vallandry to Arc 1800 from 8am until the end of the race. Access will be closed again in the evening once the Route des Espagnols has been reopened. Warning: As this road is narrow, please be extra vigilant and moderate your speed.

The following local roads will also be closed:
Route des Côtes (Saturday 26 August from 7am to 6pm).
Chemin de Marmarin (Saturday 26 August from 7am to 6pm).
Chemin rural de Nancroix aux Esserts (Saturday 26 August, 7am-6pm).
Chemin rural des Vernettes (Saturday 26 August, 7am-6pm).

SHUTTLES :
Shuttles will run throughout the destination, from Landry to the resort via Peisey, at the usual times. You can find the timetables by clicking on " Menu " " I'm informed " " Access & shuttles " " How to get around " " Shuttles ".
