The concept of the event:
Gathering of Supercars and beautiful sports cars for baptisms on closed roads between Montchavin and Les Coches, about 5 km each way.

Previous editions:
The 1st edition took place on Sunday July 03, 2011, based on an idea by Nicolas Richel and with the support of the Montchavin-Les Coches Tourist Office, the resort's shopkeepers' associations and the Bellentre Town Hall. The one-day event attracts almost 3,000 visitors, generating 300 paid baptisms, with proceeds going to the ODP (Œuvre des Pupilles des Sapeurs Pompiers).

Edition 2024:
Baptisms cost from €30 to €100 per person (€30 for a random choice of vehicle, €70 for a specific choice of vehicle and €100 for a baptism in an exceptional vehicle).

New for 2024:
Donkervoort F22:
Dutch brand created in 1978. Only 100 models of this vehicle exist (all sold). Powered by a 500 hp Audi engine, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.
Ferrari Competizione:
The Italian manufacturer describes it as "the perfect marriage of performance, form and function". The Competizione accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and has a top speed in excess of 340 km/h.

An exceptional driver:
For this 2023 edition, Motor Sportive Day will have the honor of having as its patron that exceptional driver François DELECOUR, emblematic French driver and 2nd in the World Rally Championship in 1993 at the wheel of a Ford Escort RS Cosworth and 4 victories in the WRC, will offer baptisms aboard a Toyota GR Yaris loaned by Toyota France (voted Sports Car of the Year 2020 by Motorsport Mag).

Nicolas Ciamin, Motor Sportive Day sponsor:
Since 2014, this motorsport prodigy has been one of the event's patrons.
A member of the French FFSA Rally Team, Nicolas adopted a mixed WRC-2 and French Rally Championship12 calendar for 2023, and won the first French round, the Rallye du Touquet, on a Volkswagen Polo GTI R5. His first victory in the WRC-2 category came at the end of the season on the first Rallye d'Europe Centrale13.

Tom Pieri, the new hope of motorsport:
Known for his spectacular runs on the Rallye du Var, he will be present on a BMW M3 E30 Gr A.

Exhibitors' Show :
Some 20 stands are expected, including car dealerships (La Plagne's partner Hyundai, Audi and Toyota), and numerous service providers in the world of automotive accessories (cleaning, windshield replacement, reprogramming, etc.).

But there's no question of forgetting the supercars that have made the event such a success.
The traditional Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches will be on hand, including a Ferrari 458 challenge specially prepared for the racetrack, with no handbrake and requiring a special start-up procedure.

A helping hand for the environment:
Aware of climate and environmental issues, MSD is making a commitment:
- 1€ per baptism will be devoted to the purchase of plants to strengthen the ecosystem of our territory.
- 1 packet of seeds will be offered to each driver and volunteer to attract bees (a major issue) and promote biodiversity.
To plant at home or in the countryside
