EDF Trail des Vallées d'Aigueblanche

This event, supported by EDF, the municipality of Grand-Aigueblanche and organised by the Avanchers Valmorel sports club, will continue to delight young and old, beginners and experts, there will be something for everyone!
It is a great opportunity to close the running season by checking off on your calendar this last challenge which promises to be electric and to enjoy the autumn colours which will sublimate the Aigueblanche Valleys before diving into the winter season.

Several race formats are available, including one for children:
The races :
- The Morel Express: 13 kms / 380 D+.
- L'Echapeaux belle : 24 kms / 1260 D+.
- La Tournée générale: 51 kms / 3020 D+ (10 miles)
- Kilowatt: children's races according to age. Challenges for the whole family.

Dry climbs:
- The Pelton 1000: 1000 D+.
- The Pelton 2000: 2000 D+.

Combined races:
- The Mégawatt : Pelton 1000 + Morel express
- The Gigawatt : Pelton 1000 + L'Echappeaux belle
- The Térawatt : Pelton 1000 + The Morel express + the General Tour over 2 days

- CHALLENGE DES KV DES VALLÉES D'AIGUEBLANCHE -
The Pelton 1000 is the third stage of the challenge des KV des Vallées d'Aigueblanche, with the KV de Pussy on May 26nd and the KV de Crève Tête (Mad'Trail) on July 13th.


- For its 4th edition, the ETVA is proud to join ODYSSEA in offering three Nordic walking courses open to all. The little sister from Chambéry is expecting many of you to come and walk and contribute to the fight against breast cancer. A great opportunity to discover or rediscover the paths of our territory, where natural space and cultural heritage are combined in a diverse environment.

Departure: 9.00 am from the Bellecombe village hall
Distances: 5,5 kms & 165mD+ / 8,5 kms & 255mD+ / 13,5 kms & 300mD+
Non-timed: open to all ages for the 5.5km course / from 2013 for the 8.5km course / from 2011 for the 13.5km course
Prices: 5€ / 8€ / 10€.
5€ donated to the 2 Savoie screening committee for each registration.

- An orienteering activity for the youngest and the oldest is proposed and organised by our partner association Nâves Ski Nordique.
2 courses are proposed:
The "marcassins" initiation course: adapted to children under 11 years old. They must be accompanied by an adult or in pairs with a teenager.
The "wild boar" course: suitable for older children (over 11 years old). Adults are welcome. Possibility of practicing independently or in pairs.

The EDF TRAIL DES VALLEES D'AIGUEBLANCHE has been awarded the "Sustainable Development Sports Event" label in 2021 by the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Directorate for Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion.
Because the environment and its respect are part of the values and identity of the Vallées d'Aigueblanche, the ETVA's managers wanted to make eco-responsibility a strong marker of its organisation from the first edition in 2019.
Limiting as much as possible the impact of an event on the natural environment and reinforcing its pro-environmental character, these are the objectives that ETVA strives to apply and reinforce over the years.
