Concert "ascent of Mont Ventoux" - tarentaise baroque festival

They echo the verses of Petrarch, the famous poet and famous ascensionist of Mont Ventoux... When three lyrical voices supported by viols and lute converse with the voice of actor Gilles de Schryver... When the chiselled madrigals of the greatest Italian polyphonists resonate with the equally chiselled architecture of the Baroque churches of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and Peisey-Nancroix... The result is ‘L'Ascension du mont Ventoux’, an astonishing show created especially for the Festival by Lambert Colson, InAlto's artistic director and another mountain-lover. It's a programme designed to take you - by bike if possible - to the high mountain byways!
