A progressive climb across the three plateaux of the Upper Maurienne. The increasing altitude is reflected in the architecture of the buildings, which varies according to differences in snowfall, vegetation and farming methods.
The road surface is excellent, but there is an important traffic in this area during the summer.
You have some possibilities to drink, to eat and to repair you bike in all the circuit.
You can admire some historical sites in this area, for example the Devil’s Fountain in Bessans, and the Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste and the Chapel of Saint-Antoine. The Baroque Church of Saint-Sébastien in Lanslevillard, and to finish the famous village of Bonneval-sur-Arc, member of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France".
