On this family-friendly route, take your time as you explore the labyrinth of charming narrow streets in the south of the Chambéry urban area, wedged between vineyards and mountains. The entire ride is under the shadow of the famous Montagne du Granier, whose collapse in 1248 marks the biggest mountain collapse in history. When you arrive at the Lac des Marches, have a drink in a nearby restaurant or go for a dip (unsecured and unsupervised area) in the lake. From 2017, a variant of this route to the north will let you discover Saint Baldoph, its old basins and views over the Belledonnes mountain range.
