La Fraîche
Near the village of Les Bieux, a quick 5 to 10 minute approach on
foot from the village center. Seventy plus routes from 20 to 70 meters high.
Difficulty: from 3 to 7b/c.
Parking is prohibited at the base of the cliff.
Le rocher d’Isertan
To the right of the Isertan surface lift, a 10-minute walk from the Chamois campground. Follow the approach trail. Over a dozen routes 15 to 25 meters high.
Difficulty: for good climbers, a few routes are rated 4b/c, most routes are rated 6a to 7b/c.
La dalle de la Six
A 10-minute walk from the first hairpin turn when heading towards Les Fontanettes (near the “Le Telemark” vacation village). A dozen moderate to difficult routes 20 meters high.
Difficulty: for good climbers, 5c to 7a+
Le tuff des Ruelles
A 15-minute walk from the Passerelle des Anciens parking lot. Walk up the right bank of the river and follow the approach trail. Tuff (volcanic) rock. A dozen routes 20 to 40 meters high.
Difficulty: for experienced climbers, rated 5c to 6c.
Sport climbing crags
Several sport climbing crags (bolted routes) and bouldering areas are located close to the village. Please inform the local guide service or City hall if there
are any issues.
