Easy access via the chairlift for this enduro trail that is not reserved for champions. It is ideal for Enduro novices and offers lots of fun, but we advise you to go with an instructor.

39- Enduro - Blue - Evita Carnéa Aussois

About

Departing from Aussois (73500)
Average length : 00h45
Total elevation gain : 7m
Vertical drop : 660m
Distance : 6.3km
Signed walking trail

There's no uphill pedalling on this trail which begins at the top of the Grand Jeu chairlift. On the first section you'll have no trouble handling the bike which means you can feast your eyes on the superb panoramic view, before the enduro effort really starts. The trail is still blue, and very amusing with its berms, slippery terrain and wooden modules dotted along the way. You can take it easy for a very short while on a road section before ending on an easy path.
The reason for the name lies in the presence of a rare and protected species of heather (Erica Carnéa), dotted along the wayside, which you must avoid damaging at all costs. Protected when the trail was created (hence the name Evita Carnéa) this little plant is just as important as the bikes!
