This route is divided into three parts, allowing both experienced climbers and beginners to venture onto the walls. It's up to you to decide when you want to stop depending on your level.

Sport Roc de la Tovière via ferrata Val-d'Isère

About

Departing from Val-d'Isère (73150)

There is a small wall followed by a long climb (which can be challenging for the youngest), a footbridge and climbing a pillar. There is a way out to the right (with children) via a pretty woodland path, in 20 minutes.

The second part, which is a little more challenging, continues with an aerial crossing, then a passage through the forest leading to another footbridge. The challenging section follows (30m) with a bridge and a pillar. The route ends after a series of ascending crossings, interspersed with small walls of varying steepness. The exit, found under the footbridge, takes you back to resort in 40 minutes.

To complete the 3rd part, take the first two parts, cross the 40-metre footbridge and climb the ‘Dalle du Lézard’ pillar. Do not begin the long crossing on the large face (due to the risk of falling rocks) but continue the climb to exit more directly via the ‘Hanging Garden’ (Jardin Suspendu). On the way back, take the difficult path that weaves through the bars and leads back to La Daille.
