Once you've admired the bell tower with bulb-shaped dome, you should linger a while in front of the building with its ornate trompe l'oeil décor evoking the passing of time. As you enter, you pass beneath the gallery which extends along either side of the building .. Inside you'll discover an array of ornate furnishings and decorative elements. In the middle of the high-altar, standing on a 1749 canopied altarpiece is a gilt, wooden tabernacle. The tabernacle comprises 3 distinct tiers and is adorned with cherubs, two of whom are holding a crown. Another item that grabs the attention is a blackened, walnut pulpit which retains all its original components. It was created by master sculptor, Jacques Clérant, and is the centre piece of the building.
