In the summertime, various strange migratory birds live together in peace,
finding their meals side by side. Grey herons and wild ducks share their
treasures right before your wondering eyes. Trout, for their part, seem to
taunt the fishermen as they slide through the current, subtle and shy.
Take a detour to Muleney lake for a dose of poetry. A lake dubbed "Lovers'
Lake" with "Caribbean colours"... to set you dreaming about atolls and blue
lagoons.
Nevertheless, this is freshwater, as you'll remember if you visit to the fish
farm. You've never seen so many trout in one day! As for the fishermen,
you'll notice that they release them after catching them.
As you pass through the Bonnenuit combe, look to your left. What is that
strange-looking construction? A snow barrier that shields the valley from the
unpredictable winter snowfall. On this side of the mountain, Mother Nature
often bares her teeth.
