Loop walk - Montaimont via the cirque des Nants

On the edge of the Vanoise National Park (marked by blue, white and red markers painted on the rocks), walk through the cirque des Nants (patois for stream), where shrubbery gradually gives way to meadows. And as every effort deserves comfort, the banks of the Lac de Tsayé Clou (patois for "enclosed meadow"), known by Pralognan locals as "le lac des tétards" (the tadpoles' lake), are the ideal place for a picnic or a packed lunch.... In Montaimont, alpine chalets bear witness to ancestral farming practices. In fact, before the advent of electric pens, the halls of Montaimont were used to milk cattle, sheltered from the elements.
