10th edition
This year, the Fête du Miel will be blowing out its 10th candle in beeswax, with a programme including exciting discussions with the Chablais Apiary School, beekeeping advice, conferences, workshops, activities, a carousel with parental propulsion, a bluegrass concert with the Moonshiners and, of course, a rich market of local honeys, abbey honeys and products from the hive...

The bee becomes queen on this day, and honey, the gold of the hive, takes pride of place.

A sensory discovery tour of Aulps Abbey, "Sens de la visite", for mentally handicapped visitors (groups of 10 to 20 participants). The Vallée d'Aulps Discovery Centre is offering a 45-minute sensory tour of the abbey grounds. It focuses on three senses: smell, touch and hearing. While the explanations of the various places visited are simplified, visitors are invited to adopt certain attitudes and postures of the monastic community. Smell: in the garden of simple plants, visitors can discover different fragrances. Touch: in the abbey church, visitors can touch and weigh the different materials used to build the abbey. Hearing: in the abbey farm, visitors can listen to an extract of Gregorian chants.
