Savoie Fishing Trail : Stretch of “no kill” fishing on the river Arly in Flumet

With its alternating riffles, pools and flats, this is a varied stretch of river where brown and rainbow trout are combative. The fishing trail, with its steep banks and wooded shoreline, is meant for the experienced angler who is confident in a more rugged wading environment. All fishing techniques are allowed, toc fishing with artificial maggots, spinning, or fly fishing with leaded bait for the deeper water, or alternatively, with dry bait in the riffles. When the snow melts, the Arly reveals its full potential, reaching its normal water level round about July.
