Departing from Saint Pierre d'Entremont, whose name means “between the mountains”, your route will take you to discover the many hamlets along the Cozon river.

The river is a real source of freshness and mystery, as its bed is sometimes hidden under rocks and moss, giving the water its distinctive color.

A keen eye will recognize the ruins of the ancient Teppaz castle on the right, overlooking the hamlet of Pont du Lac, which you cross to reach the hamlet of Les Courriers.

But the surprises have only just begun! The wooden footbridge at La Chivolande gives you a direct view of the Cozon waterfall: as beautiful as it is bewitching, it's a deep cauldron sculpted by erosion, a place as enchanting as it is refreshing.

The path then winds its way through a chaos of boulders whose rounded shapes will evoke certain human and animal silhouettes.
