Near the Palais, take the "Chemin des Anes", then the small road in the Vauvray direction. Really easy itinerary and wonderful panoramic views over the Mont-Blanc chain.

From Vauvray: turn left, cross the hamlet and climb to the Fouettaz. Very quiet road, little traffic, wide panoramic view over the Mont-Blanc chain. About 2h.
Possibility to continue after Ormaret village in the direction of the Cry (viewpoint indicator, restaurants). About 3h.

    0/ From the Palais des Sports, take the Chemin des Anes,

    1/ Continue along the narrow road towards Vauvray. Magnificent views of the Mont Blanc chain. Very easy.

    2/ Once in Vauvray, turn left through the hamlet.

    3/ Climb to La Fouettaz. Very quiet road, little traffic, wide-open views of the Mont-Blanc chain.

    4/ After the village of Ormaret, you can go up towards La Cry (orientation table, restaurants). Walk time approx. 3 hrs. (snowshoe itinerary)

    5/ Return by the same route.
