Between Annemasse and Geneva, 12 km of Voie Verte are reserved for non-motorized means of locomotion: bicycles, pedestrians, scooters, baby carriages...
On the Swiss side, it continues towards the center of Geneva. On the French side, it continues towards Bonne, then towards Chamonix on the Léman Mont-Blanc itinerary.
For a short stop between pedal strokes, take advantage of the greenway's rest areas. Water points are available along the way.
Major works to cover the Seymaz bridge will be carried out throughout 2023 (Switzerland). This will have an impact on access to the Annemasse-Eaux-Vives greenway and - to a lesser extent - on Léman Express traffic.
Work will start on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, and will last approximately 12 months. The section of the greenway between avenue de Bel-Air and chemin de la Montagne will be closed to all pedestrian and cyclist traffic. Secure detour will be put in place for cyclists, pedestrians and people with reduced mobility.
