A breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and the Chablais mountains awaits you at the top.
You will cross many pastures where you can enjoy the calm of nature and the sound of the herds' bells.
The start is at Prébuza on the heights of Chevenoz, you will cross woods and mountain pastures and reach a ridge that overlooks the hamlet of Boeufs. This will take you to the summit of Mont Baron and its cross.

Ground, Grit
0/ Start from the car park at Prébuza in Chevenoz.
1/ Follow the path that goes up in the woods with the GR markings (red and white) until you reach a cow crossing. Continue on the path which passes by the mountain chalets "Sur les Trables". Then go up into the woods.
2/ Arriving at the chalets of "Petit Chesnay", follow the path that crosses the meadows to reach "Le Grand Chesnay". Continue to climb through the meadows. At the crossroads, follow the path that goes up.
3/ At the top of the climb, you are on a vast plain. Take the path that goes down. Do not take the path that goes up on your left, through a rocky barrier.
4/ Go down towards the Col des Bœufs. Before the pass, take the path which rises on your left and which goes around the rocky barrier.
5/ You will then go up, in a yaw, through a meadow. You will then reach the summit represented by a cross.
6/ The return is the same way.
