On the way, you'll go through the village of Copponex with its Romanesque church, press and bread oven. Great view of the Usses Valley. In Mézier, there is a fruit cooperative (Pommes et Poires de Savoie). Near Les Usses, make a short detour to Chosal Farm to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. On the way back up, stop at the inn in Bajole for a meal or a drink. In the Férande Valley, you'll see an ecological sewage farm using sand and reeds.

About
Not far from the walk is the Follow Farm, which sells local produce. You can also see the majestic bridges across the Caille (the oldest, which is Sardinian in origin, is a suspension bridge). Seen from the bridges, the Usses Gorge is spectacular. Have a break in the little mediaeval town of Cruseilles and take a look at the Mont-Salève cheesemaking plant and dairy.
