From Mont Cenis Pass, take the path that climbs across the Alpine pastures to the Petite Turra. Follow the track on the right to the Fort. Backtrack and go back down via the old military track, then the forest track on your right. Follow the D1006 road back to Mont Cenis Pass.
Be careful when visiting the Fort: unsecured ruins (vaults, underground passages, sentry boxes, etc.).

Turra Fort

The only fort built by the French on the Mont Cenis plateau, it is ideally located, perched on its promontory. It will offer you a view of the Mont Cenis lake, the Italian mountains, Val Cenis Lanslebourg and the Haute Maurienne Vanoise.

Access to the fort: presence of a handrail, path not recommended in rainy weather.
