Built in 1935, the Cooperative has been completely renovated to perpetuate the artisanal production of raw milk cheeses. Visit the gallery to see how this traditional know-how is applied.
Every day, 10,000 liters of milk from some 30 Chartreuse farms are transformed into delicious cheeses (Mont Granier, Grand Duc, Délice, Estival and Tommes de Chartreuse). Open-access tour room and production monitoring in the morning.
The cooperative store sells not only local cheeses (Tomme de montagne, Tomme de Savoie, Le Chartreux), but also cheeses and other regional products, such as wine, groceries and charcuterie.
Open daily from 9am to 12:30pm and from 2:30pm to 7pm (except Monday mornings, 25/12 and 01/01).
