About

Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle (73590)

Rising on the retaining wall of the terrace of the first chalet of Marcinelle en Montagne in Saint Nicolas La Chapelle, the fresco by Abys2fly and OSRU is an ode to nature through the nuances of urban art. They invite us to a new humanism that is more attentive and adjusted to all forms of life. The fresco offers us a world where each element is appreciated for its contribution to the balance of life. The lines traced with a roller by Orsu embody an overflowing vitality, while the curves suggest the springing forth of life in its purest form. This dance of forms is a visual representation of energy and life, a living fabric that marries the imagination of Abys2fly. Where OSRU represents mutation and movement, Abys2fly breathes a dreamlike vitality with his majestic ibex with plant-like fur. He seems to watch over this transformed landscape, inviting a deep introspection on our relationship with the surrounding fauna and flora. Together, they create an artistic ecosystem, uniting the micro and macrocosm in a visual harmony that embodies the theme of the respectful and interconnected coexistence of the living.
