Departure from the summit of the Aiguille du Midi by walking down the famous ridge, roped up with your guide: the "Emotion" sequence!
Then, depending on the snow conditions and the technical level of the participants, you can opt for one of the many variants of more or less steep descents on the Géant, Vallée Blanche or envers du plan glaciers... The "Action" sequence.
The routes converge on the famous "Mer de Glace", one of the largest glaciers in the Alps! This is the moment of "Contemplation"!
Depending on the snow conditions at the time, you can ski through the forest to Chamonix or take the Montenvers train down to the valley.
To each his own Vallée Blanche, but with the common point of an EXTRA ordinary day!
Guide's view :
The Vallée Blanche takes place entirely on glaciers. The snow and glacier conditions (crevasses) change every day.
The minimum ski level required is "red piste", but can be higher in some cases (fresh snowfall), so we recommend that you contact us so that we can give you the most recent "field feedback" possible.
For children, the spring period (March/April) is more recommended and the level of skiing should be equivalent to "the arrow". A child tires more quickly than an adult and is also more sensitive to cold and altitude.
Itinerary of 19 to 22km.
