About

Novalaise (73470)

The Association of the Old Orchard maintains, adjusts and entertains the fruit heritage of the site. It protects and increases the local and ancient varieties in a young orchard, but also shares arboricultural practices during workshops through the different seasons.

Signs help visitors to learn about the fruit past of the region, the local preserved varieties and the vectors of preserved diversities set up in the orchard.

The orchard is a first hand place to stroll while thinking about the protection of our natural and fruit heritage, but also a nice and quiet place for a family walk.

If you come from the lake, we advise you to park your vehicle at the parking located Route de Yenne when you are leaving Novalaise, on the right before the speed bump.
Take the small path further down the road towards the town and cross the road.
An arrow "Verger Pédagogique" indicates a small path going down towards the Leysse, then you just to go through the bridge to access the orchard.
