The walk from Loutraz is worth a look at the illuminations of the fort at night.
Warning ! for security reasons, this fort is not open to visitors, but you can access to the front of the building, via Modane.

Le Fort du Replaton
Built to defend the entrance of the railway tunnel at the end of the 19th century. This Serré de Rivière type fort is a work of a defense system: the Maginot line of the Alps. The interior of the fort cannot be visited.
